Research coordinator consultant
The Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC), in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, has commenced the in-country implementation of the Saving Lives and Livelihoods initiative in the Republic of Rwanda to accelerate COVID-19 vaccination across the country. Rwanda Biomedical Center RBC in collaboration with BUFMAR (Bureau des Formations médicales agréées du RWANDA), is committed to implement a project aiming to assess COVID-19 Vaccine Effectiveness, Vaccine Uptake Determinants, and Impact of Pandemic on Health Programs in Rwanda.
In view of the further development of its activities in frame of PROVE project, BUFMAR is currently seeking to recruit the following consultant who will work closely with the project Team:
Research Coordination consultant (1)
Post: Research coordinator consultant
Duty station: RBC
Duration of the work: Six months
The way of payment: upon deliverable report and invoice submission after each month.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Coordinate research activities
• Analyze collected data
• Write reports of research conducted
• Ensure quality of research data
• Close Follow up of the research activities

Qualification and experience
• Rwanda Citizen
• Master’s Degree in Public Health, Master’s Degree in Global Health or Masters degree in other related field.
• Minimum 2 publications at least in one is the first author.
• Experience in analyzing health-related data (preferable).
• Excellent knowledge of Kinyarwanda and English; Having basic French will be an added advantage.
• Experience in conducting mixed methods surveys.
• Experience with data collection tools (ODK, RED Cap and/or Survey CTO)
• Experience in using statistical software like R, Stata and/or SPSS
