Job description
•
• Demarcation of land surface for radical terraces;
• Identify cut-off drains and waterways;
• Determine radical terraces width, length and bow down;
• Calculate the terrace spacing or Vertical Interval;
• Perform any other assignment attributed by the community leader in collaboration with local leaders
• Land demarcation of the site, Layout maps of the site in 1:1000 scale indicating grid lines and contour lines, water ways;
• Carrying out topographical survey and preparation of plans (Layout maps) and report (Reconnaissance survey of the area);
• Ensure proper supervision to check if quality standards have been followed;
• Handing all field data and survey reports to the District project focal person, to RWFA and IUCN and District;
• Timely report his/her duties and assignments.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering

Electric Vehicle Test Operations Engineer
OX Delivers Kigali, Kigali City, Rwanda
This role will be a based in market in Kigali, Rwanda as part of an international multi-disciplinary scrum team introducing new logistics products into the Rwandan market. The team works to assess vehicle and logistics operations in market and develop and deploy enhancements to improve logistics operations.
As a highly motivated hands-on practical engineer within a small organisation, you will have a broad remit working in collaboration with the Vehicle Engineering teams to:
• Establish robust in-market operations for design verification and validation testing, working closely with the in-market product and operations teams to:
• Specify and source appropriate test equipment and facilities
• Create and develop test processes and procedures
• Support creation of in-market product test planning and manage delivery.
• Create and instigate systems for managing test reporting.
• Promote a healthy and safe working culture by:
• Ensuring safety is a priority woven into the fabric of our operations
• Supporting the creation and operation of a safe testing environment with appropriate working practices and procedures.
Relevant knowledge for the role

• 5+ years practical vehicle testing experience
• 3+ years design verification testing
• Experience with OBD / CAN logging tools and instrumentation
Desirable:
• Commercial/ goods vehicle testing experience
• Working knowledge of High Voltage electric vehicle systems
• Rwandan residency and/or direct cultural experience
• Agile scrum organisational experience
• Vehicle telematics or software over-the-air experience
