Purpose of the position
We are looking for an HR manager to lead HR functions and the Directorate of Finance and Administration. The candidate upon recruitment will head and coordinate all HR matters across the company from recruitment to performance reviews, wage reviews, disciplinary action, and learning and staff development. To perform well in this role, the candidate should have experience as an HR manager, or other senior roles in the HR team, and knowledge around all legal requirements in this role.

Human Resource Manager Scope of Work
• To lead and coordinate with Company Management in the recruitment of excellent and competent staff.
• To prepare staff contracts in liaison with the legal department and to be charged with employees’ contracts Management.
• To prepare monthly staff payroll and to effect staff remuneration statutory deductions.
• To prepare staff training, counselling, and coaching sessions.
• To resolve staff conflicts through positive and professional mediation.
• To conduct staff performance and wage reviews and carry out other necessary administrative duties.
• To lead in the development of clear staff policies and to ensure their awareness.
• To prepare and submit clear and concise reports on HR matters.
• To maintain health and safety compliance at the workplace and report to management.
• To handle workplace investigations, disciplinary, and staff contracts termination procedures.
• To keep employees records and to ensure employees’ records and workplace privacy.
• Leading a team of subordinate human resource staff.

Requirements
Human Resource Manager Qualifications/ Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in human resources or related field.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
• Experience in educating and coaching staff.
• Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
• Experience in following and maintaining workplace privacy.
• Ability to give presentations.
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety laws.
• Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
• To have skills in using various HR software programs ( e.g: Payroll software , BambooHR, etc).
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• *Plan and provide statistical expertise required in the design, conduct and analysis of relevant capacity building field studies, projects and program evaluations;
