Corporate Finance and Advisory Manager- BK Capital Limited
Communications Associate at Bridge2Rwanda
Provide financial advice and insight to BK Capital clients and stakeholders at every stage of a Corporate Finance and/or Advisory transaction lifecycle, from consideration of strategic options to transaction execution.

Main Responsibilities of the Job
• Deal origination: Provide support to create content and high-quality pitch materials to enable deal origination
• Deal execution: working with clients, law firms, other advisors and investors on executing and negotiating financing transactions
• Provide professional input by participating in, and supporting activities that will help to develop innovative and appropriate financial structures for various clients within BK Capital’s risk management guidelines;
• Take the lead on document drafting and due diligence, preparation of investor presentations, as well as investor targeting and investor feedback.
• Participating in, and supporting activities that help to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to further develop and deepen the corporate finance & advisory business;
• Develop financial and valuation models to analyse deals and offers to determine viability and profitability
• Conduct financial analyses, research and presentations to facilitate required business decisions and provide analytical support for all transactions;
• Mentoring, training and supervising the analysts in the team
• Keep abreast of developments in corporate finance and investment banking;
• Any other duties as may be assigned to the jobholder by management

• Minimum of 3-4 years of demonstrable related experience in investment banking and/or advisory services;
• Advanced financial modelling, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
• Proven ability to comfortably interact with business clients and management
• Experience in organizing individual workload and meeting deadlines.
• Experience of working in a similar organization will be an added advantage.
• Strong financial, analytical, verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interpret financial information and present it to non-financial people.
• Ability to work well under pressure and innovative approach to problem-solving

Position Summary:

Grade: Principal Senior Officer
Position Summary:
Analyse current credit data and financial statements of firms to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money. Prepare reports with this credit information for use in decision-making. Job Requirement
• BBA (Finance or Accounting), Bachelor’s Degree in Economics or Management
• Minimum of 3 years as a lending/credit officer in the lending field in a large financial institution;

Key Responsibilities:
Credit Analysis

• Generate financial ratios, using computer programs, to evaluate customers' financial status
• Compare liquidity, profitability, and credit histories of establishments being evaluated with those of similar establishments in the banking industry
• Review individual or commercial customer files to identify and select delinquent accounts for collection
• Periodic analysis of non-performing loans and make recommendations to management

Reporting
• Prepare reports that include the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money
• Evaluate customer records and recommend payment plans based on earnings, savings data, payment history, and purchase activity

Customer Service
• Consult with customers to resolve complaints and verify financial and credit transactions

Revenue Assurance Assistant Manager

• Conduct monthly interest income analysis.

• Review all fees and commission reports prepared by the branches and head office.
• Compile all the revenue leakage reports and communicate the same to relevant departments and branches.

Qualification, Experience, Skills and Attributes
• A degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce and intermediate IT or related field.
• A master’s degree in economics, finance or business administration will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in banking.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office suite and other visualization tools such as PowerBI.
• Having Knowledge in Structured QueryLanguage (SQL), Oracle systems and database, Oracle analysis and PowerBI would be an added advantage.
