JOB DETAILS:
The Tree Operations Specialist will report directly to Rwanda Tree Lead. They will also seek guidance from the Extension and Innovations departments. The Tree Operations Specialist will support all of Rwanda Tree related operations including production, procurement and systems .

Specific responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Advise our tree production operations on driving up efficiency and effectiveness by innovating cost-saving initiatives.
• Work with the Procurement team to use forecasting to increase timeliness and efficiency, reduce procurement cycle times, and reduce unit costs through better economies of scale.
• Support tree distribution operations that include the development of detailed project plans and coordination across multiple departments to ensure smooth execution.
• Support performance management systems of more than 1000 temporary staff working on our nurseries.
• Oversee controls and fraud prevention activities.
• Strengthen quality assurance and inventory management processes.
• Innovate new ways to increase staff safety at the workplace/nurseries.
