JOB DETAILS:
We are looking for a Repayment Operations Team Deputy on the Field Operations team to oversee our micro-finance loan portfolio. You will implement the annual repayment strategy by coordinating between the repayment team and other departments, such as the Field Operations and Business Operations teams. You will also develop our Mobile Money systems (agents, policies, network, etc) to implement cashless loan payments for our farmers. We have rapid scale goals, and ensuring a sustainable program through loan repayment is an important part of achieving the scale that we are aiming for. You will report to the Repayment Operations Team Lead .

Job Responsibilities
• Be the primary project manager for microfinance loan repayment operations projects
• Manage 1-2 junior repayment team staff
• Work with field team to write and distribute weekly field messaging and training points
• Help build portions of the repayment strategy, including SMS planning and comms, KPI coordination, field training, and weekly reporting
• Assist with strategic/analytical projects such as running staff surveys, writing repayment reports, and developing repayment KPIs
• Collaborate with other departments, including Business Operations, Marketing, and Logistics to ensure repayment activities and processes run smoothly

Qualifications
We are looking for professionals with 2+ years of work experience and a passion for international development. Candidates who fit the following criteria are encouraged to apply:
• Previous work experience in similar organizations.
• A background or interest in micro-finance, mobile money, or loan management is helpful but not required
• Experience in a field operations/implementation role is preferred
• Comfortable working with data - advanced Excel skills are not required but you will need to use quantitative data and KPI reports to create action plans
• Good humor, patience, and a humble approach to service
• Working knowledge of Kinyarwanda is required, strong oral and written English is helpful
• Willingness to be based in Rubengera for the length of the contract
