JOB DETAILS:
Rwanda Food And Drugs Authority .

Job Responsibilities:
• To ensure compliance to the Law No. 47/2012 of 14/01/2013 Relating to the Regulation and Inspection of Food and Pharmaceutical Products and applicable Regulations of the Rwanda FDA by all companies, businesses, individuals and institutions dealing with food and drugs.
• To attend to food additives processing clients and explain the requirements, registration process and any other information sought,
• To conduct the assessment and registration of food additives,
• To Keep files for each registered company and ensure their updates,
• To Prepare monthly plans for approval by the superiors
• Any other duty that may be assigned by direct supervisor.

Key Technical Skills and Knowledge Required:
• Good understanding of national and international standards, norms and practices relating to food assessment and registration;
• Knowledge in good manufacturing practice;
• Proficient in MS Office programs (MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point);
• Good leadership skills;
• High degree of integrity;
• Good problem solving and decision making skills;
• Good communication skills;
• Team work skills;
• Good interpersonal skills,
• Fluent in Kinyarwanda, English, and/or French language, knowledge of all is an advantage.

Job Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Food Science& Technology, Chemistry, Nutrition, Dietetic, Biotechnology.
