About the Role: The community protection officer will support the implementation of the community protection services activities in Mahama refugee camp and will closely work with the Child protection coordinator to represent the Save the Children community protection team in the identification and registration process of vulnerable refugees, support during distribution of food and NFIs; mainstreaming of vulnerabilities among the refugee communities. He/She will be based in the field. He /she will ensure vulnerable refugees have timely and adequate access to basic services by conducting rapid assessment and follow-up of all identified cases. The incumbent will represent Save the Children during the registration of new arrivals and ensure that the most vulnerable persons are identified, registered, supported and followed up. .
