Background

Inkunga Finance Plc, originally established as cooperative Imbonezabukungu on the 28^th of October in 1993 & cooperative Inkunga created on the 15^th of September 1995 that merged as COOPEC INKUNGA on the 18^th of August 2005; formally licensed as a Microfinance Institution (MFI) on July 8, 2016, has become a key player in Rwanda's financial landscape. With its headquarters in Karongi District, Western Province, Inkunga Finance Plc has grown to operate across seven branches in Kigali City and Western Province, serving as a cornerstone of financial inclusion and sustainable development in these regions.

As the organization continues to evolve, it seeks to enhance its digital presence, document its impactful journey, and promote its green financing products through the revamping of its website, the production of a documentary, and the creation of a green products video advert. These initiatives aim to further strengthen Inkunga Finance Plc's role in fostering sustainable development and financial inclusion.

Objectives

The objectives of this assignment are as follows:

1. Website Revamping: Upgrade the Inkunga Finance Plc website to enhance product, service and content display, ensure SEO optimization, and improve user experience.
2. Documentary Production: Create a documentary that captures the history, impact, and future vision of Inkunga Finance Plc, including testimonials from clients, partners, and staff.
3. Green Products Video Advert: Develop a video advert showcasing the forestry value chain and agroforestry financing products offered by Inkunga Finance Plc, emphasizing their role in promoting sustainable livelihoods and climate-smart agriculture.
4. Complaint Feedback Mechanism: Integrate a chatbot into the website to facilitate customer feedback and complaints, ensuring responsive customer service.

Scope of Work

The scope of work includes, but is not limited to:

1. Website Revamping
   • Conduct a comprehensive audit of the current website.
   • Redesign the website to be trendy, interactive, and user-friendly.
   • Optimize content for search engines (SEO).
   • Provide gold-level hosting services with a one-year warranty and support.
   • Integrate a chatbot for complaint feedback and customer service.
2. Documentary Production
   • Develop a script and storyboard for the documentary.
   • Film and produce a high-quality documentary featuring Inkunga Finance Plc’s journey, impact stories, and future aspirations.
   • Include interviews with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and staff.
3. Green Products Video Advert
   • Create a concept and storyboard for the video advert.
   • Produce a visually appealing advert highlighting Inkunga Finance Plc’s green financing products, focusing on forestry, agroforestry and climate-smart agri-financing.
4. Complaint Feedback Mechanism:
   • Develop and integrate a chatbot on the revamped website to handle customer feedback and complaints.
   • Ensure the chatbot is user-friendly and capable of providing instant responses to common queries.

Deliverables

The following deliverables are expected:

1. Website Revamping:
   • A fully revamped and functional website with enhanced display and SEO optimization.
   • Integration of a chatbot for customer feedback and complaints.
   • Documentation of the website architecture and user guide for content management.
2. Documentary:
   • A 15-20-minute high-quality documentary in both digital and physical formats.
   • All raw footage and production files.
3. Green Products Video Advert:
   • A 2-3 minute video advert in high-definition digital format.
   • Storyboard and script documentation.
4. Complaint Feedback Mechanism:
   • A fully integrated and operational chatbot on the website.
   • User guide for managing the chatbot and handling customer interactions.

Timeline

The assignment is to be completed within a period of 30 days from the date of signing the contract. The key milestones are as follows:

Qualifications

The selected Contractor or firm should possess the following qualifications:

• Proven experience in web development, documentary production, and video advertising.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating similar projects.
• Ability to integrate advanced features such as chatbots into websites.
• Knowledge of the financial sector and green/ sustainable financing is an added advantage.
