Time and Frequency Officer
Level:5.II
Job description

• Maintain and implement laboratory management systems of Time and Frequency Laboratory according to ISO/IEC 17025
• Propose Time and Frequency annual action plan and submit to direct supervisor
• Prepare Time and Frequency weekly activities pal and submit it to direct supervisor
• Carry out Time and Frequency laboratory duties according to the action plan
• Draft calibration or verification methods based on international standards or guidelines or based principles of measurement science and technics and submit to direct supervision for review and approval
• Prepare and keep up to date Time and Frequency laboratory inventory
• Analyses, redesigns or adjusts measurement capability to minimize errors in Time and Frequency laboratory and submit to Director for approval
• To conduct markets survey for supporting Time and Frequency laboratory scope upgrade
• Prepare draft calibration/Verification certificates, Survey reports and keep records of raw data
• Prepare and submit the progress reports of performed laboratory activity
• Implement corrective actions to address identified non- conformity and or non-conforming work in time and Frequency Laboratory
• Ensure maintenance plan of Time and Frequency laboratory standards/equipment is implemented
• Ensure the Time and Frequency reference and working standards are handled and kept according to the international standards requirement
• Ensure the customer items/Unit under calibration or verification are handled and kept according to the international standards requirements and procedure in place
• Maintain the laboratory in a tidy and organised manner at all times.
• Perform any other organization related

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Information and Communication Technology
