TENDER NOTICE

TITLE: TENDER FOR SUPPLY DIFFERENT CHEMICALS FOR EUCL’s POWER PLANTS

PROCUREMENT METHOD: NATIONAL COMPETITIVE BIDDING (NCB)

CLIENT AND SOURCE OF FUND: ENERGY UTILITY CORPORATION LIMITED

1. Energy Utility Corporation Limited (EUCL) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the TENDER FOR SUPPLY DIFFERENT CHEMICALS FOR EUCL’s POWER PLANTS.
2. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) in accordance with the Procurement Procedures Manual of REG/EUCL.
3. The Bidding Document may be obtained by interested bidders for any working days from 28/06/2024, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at EUCL-REG Headquarters, 1st Floor, Room N° G114, in the Secretariat Office of the Procurement Management of EUCL, P.O Box 5634 Kigali, gruhumuriza@eucl.reg.rw or rmutungi@eucl.reg.rw; upon presentation of proof of payment of a non – refundable amount of Ten Thousand Rwandan Francs (10,000 Frw). This payment shall be made to Account 2001161020000121 opened at NCBA Bank, Rwanda.
4. Bids must be delivered to the address below before or not later than 10:00am local time on 23/07/2024. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened.
5. Bids will be opened in a public session and in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person in the conference room at EUCL Headquarter Offices at 10:30 am local time on the same day.
6. Well printed bids, properly bound and presented in four copies one of which is the original must reach the Secretariat of the Procurement Management at the address mentioned below not later than 23/07/2024 at 10:00 am. Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened.
7. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid security of One Million Nine Hundred Thousand Rwandan Francs (Frw 1,900,000) or equivalent in form of any other convertible currency which has the validity period of One Hundred Fifty (150) days from the opening date; issued by a reputable bank or any other financial institution

8. The bids will remain valid for 120 days starting from the deadline of bids submission.
