Introduction

KT Rwanda Networks Ltd (KTRN) is the only 4G LTE infrastructure company in Rwanda, jointly invested by the Government of Rwanda and Korea Telecom (KT) exclusively for wholesale provision of universal mobile broadband network in Rwanda using 4G LTE technology. The wholesale network service for mobile broadband will help to promote healthy competition for advanced retail services and solutions and will benefit consumers, enterprises, and the nation in transforming Rwanda into the ICT hub of East Africa. The company also provides wholesale fixed services based on its national wide fiber infrastructure to licensed operators in Rwanda.

Project summary:

In order to deliver high quality and consistent service, KTRN ltd intends to contract qualified companies that will provide supply and replacement of spare parts, preventive maintenance and repair services of AC, Generators as well as Supply and Installation Electrical Materials in different locations countrywide.

The service required should be provided by a well-reputable company with standard service operation procedures having experienced staffs in below field;

Below are the required Energy Services;

1. Generator Repair and Maintenance

2. AC Conditioners repair and Maintenance

3. Supply and Installation of electrical materials

General qualifications and required documents

Interested companies must provide the following documents:

1. Have experience of 5 years in performing similar energy Services mentioned above,
2. Provide 3 recommendation letters of similar related services
3. Copy of Certificate of incorporation
4. Copy of Trade License of related services
5. Tax clearance certificate issued by RRA
6. A confirmation that the bidder has an Electronic Billing Machine [EBM]

Please note that if there are significant deficiencies regarding responsiveness to the requirements of this RFQ, an offer may be deemed “non-responsive” and thereby disqualified from consideration. 

Quotations 

Quotations in response to this RFQ must be all taxes and transport inclusive and presented in Rwanda currency. They must remain valid for not less than sixty (60) calendar days after the offer deadline. Bidders are requested to provide quotations on official letterhead.

Please note that no bidder is allowed to submit on more than one service.

Bids Submission.

Well, scanned bids, properly bound and presented in one file not exceed ten Megabytes (10MB) must be sent by email on procurement@ktrn.rw. No later than 12^th November 202121 at 10:00 am local time.  Late bids will be rejected.

Please note that there will be no public opening due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
