Good Neighbors is an international humanitarian development NGO founded in Korea in 1991 to make the world a place without hunger, where people live together in harmony.
The first community development project in Bangladesh was launched in 1992 and currently, Good Neighbors is working in 192 communities in 40 countries with our focus on inclusive community development approach and child protection.
In 1994, Good Neighbors implemented its first emergency response project in Rwandan refugee situation, providing medical relief teams and establishing two schools at the refugee camps.
Starting with Rwanda emergency response, Good Neighbors has been actively responding various disaster and emergencies including Kobe earthquake in 1995, South Asia tsunami in 2004, Haiti earthquake 2010, Typhoon Haiyan in 2013 and Nepal Earthquake in 2015.

Good Neighbors has attained General consultative status with United Nations Economic and Social council (UN ECOSOC) in 1996. In recognition of valuable efforts in providing universal primary education over the world, Good Neighbors was awarded the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) Award by International Association of Economic and Social Councils and Similar Institutions (AICESIS) in 2007.
We also work in cooperation with our partners including UN World Food Program (UN WFP), UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), UN Development Program (UNDP), UN Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) and other aid agencies.

Tender Announcement
1. Good Neighbor International hereby invites national bidders for the supply of livestock (Goats and Pigs) to Rwankuba Sector in Karongi District, Rusenge Sector in Nyaruguru District, Kaduha Sector in Nyamagabe, Runda Sector, and Nyamiyaga Sector in Kamonyi District and Mukindo Sector and Gikonko Sector Cyiri in Gisagara District.
2. Participation in the competition is open on equal conditions to all companies or firms specialized in the field of Livestock Supply and the tender is divided into one (1) lot.
Supply of Goats and Pigs to Rwankuba Sector in Karongi District, Rusenge Sector in Nyaruguru District, Kaduha Sector in Nyamagabe, Runda Sector and Nyamiyaga Sector in Kamonyi District and Mukindo Sector and Gikonko Sector Cyiri in Gisagara District.
4. Tender documents may be obtained from the Secretariat of Good Neighbors International Head office located at Kimihurura, opposite Lemigo hotel (FAIR VIEW building 3rd floor) from 06th May to 11th May 2022, upon presentation of a prepaid bank slip of a non-refundable fee of Ten thousand Rwanda francs (10,000 Rwf), deposited to the account No. 211-117708-1-5101-2 Account Name: Good Neighbors International open in GT Bank.

5. Well printed bids written in English, properly bound and presented in three copies of which, one original and two copies must reach, in sealed envelopes at GNI-Rwanda Head office, at latest by 12th May 2022 at 10:00 am local time, accompanied with bid security of RwF 1,000,000 (One million Rwandan Francs) issued by a reputable bank or a registered financial institution. Late bids shall be rejected and bidders should sign in the tender register at the reception.
6. The bids will remain valid for 15 days starting from the deadline for their submission; the opening of the bids will take place in a public session on 12th May 2022 at 10:05 am. Prompt local time at GNR Head office.
