TENDER NOTICE

TITLE: SUPPLY OF GENERATORS AND UPS WITH ACCESSORIES

TENDER REFERENCE N°: 11.07.022/201/G/2023-2024/NCB/PROC-DDO/EUCL- MD/CG/13 PROCUREMENT METHOD: NATIONAL OPEN COMPETITIVE BIDDING (NCB)

SOURCE OF FUND: ENERGY UTILITY CORPORATION LIMITED (EUCL)

1. The Energy Utility Corporation Limited (EUCL) hereby invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for submitting their best offers for Supply of Generators and UPS with Accessories as indicated in detail in the statement of Requirements. The tender is made of Two (2) indivisible lots as follow:

Lot 1: Supply of Generators with Accessories

Lot 2: Supply of UPS with Accessories

2. Participation is open on equal conditions to all companies specialized in the field. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) method specified in the Procurement User Manual of REG as updated to date.

Tender Documents can be obtained on working days starting from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm at EUCL Headquarter, KN82 ST Nyarugenge District, 1st Floor, Room N° G114, the Secretariat Office of the Procurement Management of EUCL, E-mail: procurement-eucl@eucl.reg.rw, onizeyimana@eucl.reg.rw upon presentation of a proof payment of a non-refundable fee of 10,000 Rwf deposited to EUCL Account N° 2001161020000121 opened at NCBA Bank, Rwanda.

Well printed bids, properly bound and presented in two copies, of which one is the original copy must reach the Secretariat of the Procurement Management at the address mentioned above not later than 21/12/ 2023 at 10:00 am. Late bids and electronics bids will be rejected and returned unopened.

5. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at EUCL Main Boardroom on 21 /12/ 2023 at 10:30am.

6. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security of 6,630,000Frw for Lot 1 and 2,301,000Frw for Lot 2 issued from a reputable financial institution recognized in Rwanda as per format provided in the bidding document.

7. The bids shall remain valid for 120 days starting from the deadline of bids submission. The Outer envelope should clearly indicate the tender name and title.
