Sustainable Growers Rwanda (SGR) is a locally registered non-profit organization that utilizes the Relationship Coffee Institute model and invests in the training and development of coffee farmers in Rwanda and DRC to produce the highest quality coffee to be sold around the world. SGR supports women coffee farmers and their families to become more professionalized business owners and increase their market based skills to increase family incomes through a professional approach to growing and trading specialty coffee.

In 2016, SGR launched the Question Coffee Cafe, a social enterprise whose mission is to increase local consumption of specialty grade coffee grown by the women beneficiaries of the SGR training program. Q COFFEE Ltd., operates a retail café in Gishushu, Kigali, Rwanda that sells coffee products, coffee tours, and coffee beverages directly to customers. The retail outlet increases the visibility of women coffee growers and their coffee and has a training space for farmers, baristas, and coffee professionals to improve coffee quality from seed to cup.

Question Coffee Café is looking for potential companies to supply public liability insurance. The insurance cover is for field and premises operations.

The details of cover are;
Location: Coffee shop located at Gishushu, Gasabo district
Per event: 100,000,000Rwf
Food & Drink poisoning: 100,000Rwf
The insurance will be for a period of 12 months renewable, starting from the date of the contract signed

Submission Procedure
Interested companies must provide well-printed quotes, properly bound to its offices at Q Coffee Center located at Gishushu KG 8 St, house No 8 not later than June 16th 2021 at 4PM (16hrs) local time. The following documents should also be provided along with the quotations:

Copy of certificate of incorporation from RDB
Valid Rwanda Revenue (RRA) tax clearance certificate
Valid Rwanda social security (RSSB) clearance certificate
Must have an experience of not less than five years, with at least 3 references notarized
List of insurance company’s service providers (health facilities and pharmacies)
A confirmation that the bidder has Electronic Machine (EBM)
The company shall be chosen through a quality and cost based selection method in accordance with SGR procedures
