The Opportunity
IHS Towers is expanding our global footprint and we are seeking an individual to join our team in Rwanda. The Senior Manager, Project Implementation Capex will efficiently control all sites implementation, network expansion and innovation projects, organize equipment orders, control equipment inventory and specifications, set all KPIs, budgets, targets, and plan to ensure business commitments to customers and the organization are met.

Core Responsibilities
• Control and management of all capital projects and implementation works
• Monitoring of logistics and stock level inventory with the procurement unit to ensure proper alignment of project works with Warehouse inventory
• Assure and confirm equipment specifications before issuing orders
• Regular specification review for alignment with Group policies or cost saving initiatives in rollout and other project implementation
• Preparation of equipment orders in alignment with approved procurement plans
• Liaises/communicate with CTO on updates and site issues on a proactive and regular basis
• Manage and resolve all issues arising from sites and various SBCs
• Attend to SBCs requirement and monitor corresponding payments to enable seamless implementation flow
• Control and enhance tenants hosting (site civil upgrades)
• Monitor and enhance acceptance procedure with regular reviews and updates based on business processes and requirements.
• Guarantee quality compliance for all project works and ensure acceptance certificates are issued for validation
• Set all department targets and KPIs
• Define project delivery schedules and plans; Communicate with the CTO
• Generate project budgets and monitor all expenses to ensure alignment with Budget and savings targets
• Coordinate all department activities and synchronization with other related departments to ensure project meet delivery timelines
• Prepare required CTO and customer reports
• Pursue cost effective solutions and improve on project innovation
• Escalate any site issue that cannot be resolved
• Monitor customer satisfaction and delivery on time
• Control documentation department and ensure all records are well documented and up to date
• Ensure capitalization forecasts are met monthly

Minimum Experience & Qualifications/Essential Knowledge
• Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Civil Engineering. Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.
• 8-10 years of cognate experience in program management, with most recent 3-5 years in telecoms industry at managerial levels supporting executive management.
