Sales Officer
Reports To: Country Head – Sales & Marketing
Department: Sales Fmcg Location: Kigali
Job Purpose:
To drive primary sales, secondary sales and market presence in defined markets, to manage the Distributor network & Route Sales to achieve desired sales objectives

Dimensions Of This Role
Distribution of Products: Appointing & managing Distributors, covering markets via direct coverage and servicing retail outlets.

Key Responsibilities
• Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual agreed Sales targets within laid down business terms for all brands
• Monitor Actual Sales and mid course corrections and inputs to reduce variance against expectations
• Formulate & execute the secondary sales plan – Area wise, distributor wise, brand wise, SKU wise
• Ensure category availability, visibility/merchandising & freshness (Stock rotation)
• Formulate and ensure implementation of trade schemes & promotions

Reporting
• Daily sales report
• JCM reports on area performance

Code of conduct and compliance to stat / regulatory norms
• Adherence to code of conduct
• Conformation to all financial and administration systems
• Compliance to statutory and regulatory norms

Experience & Knowledge Required:
Qualification & Experience
• Graduate
• Experience of 3 to 5 years in FMCG sales.

Knowledge
• To possess a complete territorial knowledge
• Working Knowledge of Ms Office

Salary Range
400 000 RWF to 500 000 RWF
