Water For People background Water For People is an international non-governmental organization (NGO) that works with people and partners to develop innovative and long-lasting solutions to developing countries' water, sanitation, and hygiene problems. The organization strives to continually improve, experiment with promising new ideas, and leverage resources to multiply its impact.
Water For People has secured funds from USAID to finance the Isoko y’Ubuzima WASH project that will operate in 10 Districts of Rwanda including Rwamagana, Kayonza, Ngoma, Kirehe, Nyagatare, Ruhango, Nyanza, Nyamagabe, Nyabihu and Ngororero from 2021 to 2026. The purpose of this project is to increase and sustain equitable access to safe drinking water and sanitation services to improve health and contribute to a strong economy.

Responsibility for transportation of goods
The supplier shall transport the goods/items to Water For People Office

General specification Good quality sleeveless jackets/vests with utility pockets (2 in front) and zipper close; vests will be branded with 7 logos (embroidery): Government of Rwanda, Water For People, Care International, VEI, IRC, AEE, USAID Logo, and Isoko y’Ubuzima; the sentence “Isuku ni Isoko y’ubuzima” screen-printed at the back.

Additional conditions:
1. The offer that complies with all the specifications, and requirements and offers a reasonable price, as well as all other evaluation criteria indicated, shall be selected. Any offer that does not meet the requirements shall be rejected.
2. Any discrepancy between the unit price and the total price (obtained by multiplying the unit price and quantity) shall be re-computed. The unit price shall prevail, and the total price shall be corrected. If the offeror does not accept the final price based on the re-computation and correction of errors, its offer will be rejected.
3. After the quotation has been submitted and at any time during the validity of the quotation, no price variation shall be accepted whether it is due to escalation, inflation, fluctuation in exchange rates, or any other market factors.
4. Regardless of the outcome or the manner of conducting the selection process, Water For People through the Isoko y’Ubuzima project shall not be responsible for any costs associated with the supplier’s preparation and submission of the quotation nor be bound to accept any quotation, nor award a contract.
