Background
Supported by Norwegian People’s Aid via the PPIMA project, HAGURUKA in collaboration with other PPIMA partners is devoted to implementing the pilot phase of Alternative Dispute Resolution(ADR) interventions in 10 districts i.e Ngoma, Kayonza, Kicukiro, Gasabo, Ruhango, Nyanza, Nyamasheke, Karongi, Musanze, and Gakenke respectively. The ADR interventions are in line with government efforts to enforce and institutionalize the ADR approach to mitigate the number of cases lodged in courts while maintaining social cohesion between parties in conflicts compared to court outcomes of win-lose.

The findings from an assessment conducted by HAGURUKA on ADR structures in November 2021, revealed the resilience of ADR structures in resolving citizen complaints on one hand and the notable capacity gaps in conflict resolution and mediation techniques, key laws, and gender inclusion on the other hand. In response to the capacity gaps mentioned above, Haguruka is planning an exclusive training of all Abunzi in the Ruhango district to empower them to play a vital role in facilitating parties to resolve their differences amicably.

Overall Objective
The objective of the training is to equip Abunzi in Ruhango with the necessary skills in conflict resolution and mediation techniques, key laws, gender equality, and inclusion to be more effective in facilitating parties in conflict to resolve their conflicts amicably to maintain their social cohesion and cut the price paid on court procedures.

Specific Objectives
The following are the specific objectives of the training in addition to the main objective:
• To introduce Abunzi on mediation techniques and standards to be more effective in their work to mediate parties in conflicts.
• To sharpen Abunzi on basic laws gender equality and inclusion having been noticed as a source of conflict in families to be able to make awareness as prevention;
• To enhance their capacity on reporting framework and documentation.
In the line with above background, Haguruka is looking for Hotel services.

Main Objective & services to be provided
The Hotel/Company will provide Hotel services to 476 ABUNZI participants for 27 days. The services are composed by:
Conference hall with all facilities including but not limited to:
• Mineral water;
• Coffee break;
• Lunch;
• Projector, round speaker, Pens, Handbooks, Flip charts

Submission Procedure
Interested Hotels/Companies should submit the following documents:
• Pro-forma invoice (Well signed and Stamped) with complete address,
• Bank information,
• TIN/RDB Certificate

Other Conditions
• The submitted quotation should indicate the total price per person calculated in consideration of the package of services to be delivered.
• The Price must be VAT inclusive

Submission deadline
Visible printed Quotations must be submitted in hard copies no later than 20th May 2022 at 15:30 PM, local time at HAGURUKA Head offices located at Kimironko KG 11 Av 95
