Qualifications requirements; As per below Terms of Reference (ToRs)
- Terms of Reference (ToR)
Ngali Holdings Ltd (NH) is a private Limited company, whose main mission is investment. It has invested in various subsidiaries and affiliates. It has invested with foreign companies in Rwanda and is having some investment abroad. NH wishes to recruit the ICT firm responsible for drafting a ICT policy. In doing so, shall do the following;
Scope of work
- Research and advice an ICT best practices: The consulting firm will research best practices in the industry for ICT policies and identify relevant regulations, standards and guidelines that the company needs to comply with.
- Develop the ICT policy and Governance framework: The consulting firm will develop a comprehensive and practical ICT policy that addresses the company’s specific needs and objectives. The policy will include guidelines for the use of hardware, software, network, internet, email, social media, mobile devices, and cloud computing. The policy will also cover all procedures and standards for data security, privacy, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Present the draft ICT policy: The consulting firm will present a draft of the ICT policy to the company’s management team and gather feedback.
- Final the ICT policy: The consulting firm will incorporate the feedback from the management team and finalize the ICT policy.
Deliverables
The consulting firm should have the following:
- A Draft ICT policy and governance framework: A draft of the ICT policy that includes guidelines for the use of ICT hardware, software, network, internet, email, social media, mobile devices and cloud computing. The policy will also cover data security, privacy, backup and disaster recovery.
- Final ICT policy and Governance framework: A finalized ICT policy and Governance framework document incorporating management team feedback.
- Requirements
The Consulting Firm should have the following:
- Firms Experience in developing ICT policies for private companies for at least 3 years
- Key personnel experience and qualifications in the similar field
- Understanding of relevant regulations, standards and guidelines.
Timeline
The consulting firm is expected to complete the project within a timeframe of 6_8 weeks from the date of engagement.
Reporting
The consulting firm will work with the company’s IT manager and report to the company’s management team on a regular basis to provide updates on the progress of the project.
