SOS CHILDREN’s VILLAGES RWANDA (SOS CV’s RWANDA) hereby invites sealed bids from eligible bidders specialized in construction to submit their offers for the tender related to REHABILITATION WORKS OF SOS CV’S RWANDA/GIKONGORO LOCATION.

Participation is open on equal conditions to all companies or enterprises specialized in the field. The companies must be registered with the Trade Register of the Republic of Rwanda and should not be on the blacklist recorded of any recognized national or international Institution.

Only Contractors belonging to Categories E, D and C of Building Contractors, of the RPPA (Rwanda Public Procurement Authority) Categorization as per updated list available on www.rppa.gov.rw are allowed to tender. Temporary joint ventures will not be taken into consideration.

The bidders must comply with all the instructions, terms and conditions and ensure that all forms required are properly completed and submitted.

The tender is composed of one indivisible lot.

Tender Document may be obtained by lodging a request at sos.procurement@sos-rwanda.org upon attachment of proof of payment of a non-refundable fee of RWF 10,000 (Ten thousand Rwandan Francs) paid to the account of SOS Children’s Villages Rwanda account number: 400418314910177 entitled SOS-CV RWANDA TRUST opened in BPR.

All bids “shall” be accompanied by a “a bid security from financial institutions equivalent to Seven Hundred and Fifty Thousand Rwanda Francs (750,000 RWF). 

A compulsory site visit will be conducted at SOS CV’S RWANDA/ GIKONGORO LOCATION in Nyamagabe District on 14 July, 2023 at 11h00 am to 12h00AM

Well-presented bids, properly organized must be delivered in hard copy, in two sealed envelopes, one containing the financial offer and the other the technical offer, to SOS CHILDREN’S VILLAGES RWANDA National Office, National Office Kacyiru-Kigali/Rwanda, KG 548 St 46 Kamatamu, Tel. +250 252 58 3874 (Office) not later than 25^th July, 2023 at 9:00 a.m.  local time. Late bids shall be rejected. 

On July 25^th 2023, 9.30 am local time, at the presence of the evaluation committee and of the contractors willing to participate, the mandatory requirements will be checked. The financial and technical offers of the bidders that will be compliant with the mandatory requirements will be opened and recorded.
