II. Organizational Context and Scope |
Established in 1951, IOM is the leading inter-governmental organization in the field of migration and works closely with governmental, intergovernmental, and non-governmental partners. IOM is dedicated to promoting humane and orderly migration for the benefit of all. It does so by providing services and advice to governments and migrants. Context: Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission, under the direct supervision of the IBG Manager, the incumbent will support the Immigration and Border Governance unit in the elaboration of the management of public health emergencies of international concern (PHEIC) at Points of Entry (PoE). |
III. Responsibilities and Accountabilities |

The selected consultant will be in charge of the elaboration of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Health Surveillance during a public health emergency of international concern (PHEIC) for staff working at Points of Entry (PoE) . In particular, the consultant shall:

Travel required: The Consultant may be required to travel up to two times during the first period of the consultancy to the PoEs. The International Organization for Migration (IOM) will take care of the costs of travel in accordance with IOM’s travel policies, including IN/6. |
