POSITION DESCRIPTION
Position Designation: Project Sales Engineer
Function: Sales & Marketing
Location: Kigali

Reports to (designation): Head of Sales and Marketing
Main purpose of the position:
To drive the Project/Institutional Sales by identifying and managing customer accounts and influence a community of Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Structural Engineers, Contracting Community, and Key End-users
Reporting into this position (designation and level): .

Key responsibilities:
• Ensure delivery of monthly volume targets
• Track enquiry, conversion to orders and ensure timely billing to the customers
• Ensure collection of payments from project / institutional customers as per the agreed credit terms
• Ensure contribution as per the agreed/budgeted targets
• Promote “basket of goods” type of sales to increase revenue through new and additional channels
• Build and maintain key relationship with Architects, Structural Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Contractors and end-users.
• Identify the various roofing requirements of the customers and developing technically correct solutions for addressing the same.
• Conducting in-house product training programs

Qualifications required:
Minimum academic qualification:
• Diploma or degree in Civil or mechanical engineering
Qualifications as an added advantage:
• Diploma in Management preferred
Professional registration:
• Affiliation to technical bodies in the Building Materials Industry

Experience required:
• General work experience (years): 3-5 years
• Specific to the position (level/discipline/years): Minimum 2 years into B2B sales
• Industry: Building Materials/ Capital Goods


Job Education Requirements: Diploma or degree in Civil or mechanical engineering
