Position Title: Professional Intern – Finance Department
Reports To: Director of Finance
Location: KG 6422 ST, BODIFA HOUSE, 7th Floor, Rugando, Gasabo, Kigali
Duration: 6 Months renewable

The Professional Intern will support the Finance Department in carrying out its functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, analysis, and administrative tasks. The role is designed to provide the intern with practical experience while contributing to the department's efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
The Professional Intern will undertake the following responsibilities:
Financial Reporting and Analysis
• Assist in preparing financial reports, statements, and reconciliations.
• Support the analysis of financial data to identify trends and variances.
• Participate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Budgeting and Forecasting
• Assist in compiling and consolidating budget data.
• Support the tracking of actual expenses against budget allocations.
Accounts Management
• Aid in the processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records of financial transactions.
Compliance and Auditing
• Support compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist during internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and information.
Administrative Support
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
• Assist in filing, data entry, and other administrative tasks.
Education
• Enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s degree program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, CPA or a related field.
Technical Skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Basic understanding of financial principles and practices.
Personal Attributes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with numbers accurately.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.
Other Requirements
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a professional environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Supervision and Reporting
The intern will work under the supervision of the Director of Finance, who will provide guidance, mentorship, and regular feedback on performance
