1. University of Rwanda (UR) is a public institution of higher learning committed to support the development of the country through the generation and advancement of knowledge and innovation among other core activities.
2. University of Rwanda hereby invites the eligible bidders to submit bids for the procurement of Supply, Installation and Training of ACES Refrigeration equipment to one building located at UR - Rubirizi Campus hosting the Africa Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Cooling and Cold Chain (ACES) as indicated in detail in the statement of Requirements.
3. Bidding process will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) in accordance with the United Nations Procurement Manual. The tender comprises of One Lot and participation is open on equal conditions to all companies that are eligible and specialized in the field.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information during working days from Monday to Friday, 08:00 am to 5:00 pm local time (Kigali - Rwanda time) and may inspect the Bidding Document at the following address:
5. Bids must be delivered to the above address not later 10h00 local time on 13th January 2023. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
6. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person in the conference room at the address provided above in public session at 10h30 local time (Kigali - Rwanda) on the same day of 13th January 2023.
7. Bids well typed, appropriately bound and presented in three copies (one original and two copies) must be accompanied by a bid guarantee issued by any reputable financial institution of Six Million Five Hundred Rwandan Francs (Frw 6,500,000) or in convertible currency; in sealed envelope and must reach to the Secretariat of the above mentioned address on or before the date and time mentioned in the point 4 and 5. The Outer envelope should clearly indicate the tender number and title.
8. The bids will remain valid for 120 days starting from the deadline of bids submission.
