JOB DETAILS:
Purpose
• Principal Technical officer in Charge of Statistics works with the revenue modeling and statistics team by contributing to the achievement of operational, objectives and targets of the team. S/He carry out individual work assignments aimed at verifying, inspecting and confirming internal and external customer’s requests of data addressed to Planning, Research and Statistics Division. This is done typically through analysis and strategic thinking by conducting research and analysis in order to identify performance gaps and solutions to business problems and to recommend innovations to improve business operations.

Key duties and responsibilities
1. Collect, clean, analyse, and produce timely reports of RRA frequently used statistical data (Arrears, Audits, Refunds) etc.,
2. Ensure proper backups and classification of statistical data on the RRA server,
3. Participate in Producing TADAT related statistics,
4. Collect and prepare data for Ad-hoc requests,
5. Contribute to populating data on the online portals used for International Publications (ISORA by IMF, ATO by ATAF, etc),
6. Perform any other duties related to RRA business as assigned by line manager.

Required Academic Qualification
Preferred Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics or Applied statistics, specialized in Statistics
2. Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Mathematics specialized in Statistics or Data Science
