Position: Operations Officer at Aigle Blanc Building, Kigali, Rwanda

Responsibilities:
1. Support the implementation of operational strategies and policies to drive the company's efficiency and effectiveness.
2. Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the company's office building(s).
3. Manage relationships with tenants, addressing their concerns and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
4. Actively seek and attract new clients/tenants for available office spaces, conducting property tours and negotiations as needed.
5. Ensure timely collection of rent and other payments from tenants, monitoring accounts receivable and following up on any delinquencies.
6. Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth operations across the organization.
7. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for building systems and equipment.
8. Manage contracts and relationships with vendors, service providers, and contractors for building maintenance and services.
9. Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
10. Assist in monitoring and analyzing operational performance, identifying areas for improvement.
11. Help develop and implement operational plans, budgets, and performance metrics for both general operations and facility management.
12. Facilitate communication between departments to optimize workflows and improve overall efficiency.
13. Assist in implementing risk management strategies to mitigate potential operational and facility-related risks.
14. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in both operations and facility management, suggesting process improvements and innovations.
15. Coordinate space planning and oversee renovation projects as needed.
16. Support the development and implementation of training programs to enhance employee skills and productivity.
17. Contribute to special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field.
2. 3-5 years of experience in operations or a related role within the financial services industry.
3. Strong understanding of business operations, process improvement, and operational efficiency.
4. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
5. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
6. Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations.
7. Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
8. Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
