BAHAGE FOODS Ltd is seeking to recruit self-motivated, qualified Candidates to fill the following position:
Operations Manager (1 Position)

Duties and responsibilities for the Operations Manager
The responsibilities and tasks of an operations manager are contingent upon the business type and industry. Their ability to handle diverse business functions stems from a broad skill set and extensive export industry experience.
• The Operations Manager reports directly to the Managing Director
• Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Monitor and supervise the production process to ensure smooth operations and optimal outcomes.
• Manage and supervise the workforce, including task allocation, setting deadlines, and monitoring performance.
• Purchase materials, plan inventory, and also oversee warehouse/ Packhouse efficiency to maintain optimal supply chain operations.
• Manage strategic partnerships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring their compliance with the company’s needs and demands.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures to mitigate potential risks.
• Formulate strategic and operational objectives aligned with organizational goals.
• Lastly, perform quality controls and monitor production Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure consistent, high-quality output.
• Develop, implement, and review operational plan and procedures.
• Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
• Work with managing director and entire team for the proper planning of the company targets.
• Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.
• Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations.
• Develops and documents “Best Practices” for all field services and warehouse or Packhouse processes
• Strong leader who actively develops employees to their potential
• Visits projects on a regular basis, interfacing with leads, field service crews, and customers, monitoring the progress and quality of the work being done by the crews
• Responsible for on-going development and training of warehouse and field services staff
• Partners with MD to develop and revise field procedures, as necessary ensuring staff adheres to installation policies and procedures
• Works collaboratively with sales, coordination, design, and project management departments for analysis and planning of installation
• Overall responsibility for proper staging, loading and unloading of product
• Oversee equipment utilization (in/outs and rentals) and scheduling efficiencies
• Manages the control and condition as well as product inventory
• Oversees the scheduling, routing, and control of all trucking activity
• Execute other Company assignments provided by MD.

Preferred skills and qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in operations management, business administration, or related field
• Holding a master’s degree in the same domain is an added value
• Working knowledge of management software programs, including QuickBooks, and MS Office like Word, excel, power point and others
• Proven work experience as Operations Manager not below 4 years
• Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
• Experience in budgeting and forecasting
• Familiarity with business and financial principles
• Excellent communication skills mostly in English and French
• Leadership ability
• Outstanding organizational skills
