JOB DETAILS:
Moisture Laboratory Officer
Level:5.II
Job description
• Maintain and implement laboratory management systems of moisture Laboratory according to ISO/IEC 17025 2017
• Propose moisture laboratory annual action plan and submit to direct supervisor
• Prepare moisture laboratory weekly activity plan and submit it to direct supervisor
• Carry out moisture laboratory duties according to the action plan
• Perform calibration or verification of moisture meters of customers
• Draft calibration methods and techniques based on principles of measurement science, technical analysis of measurement problems, and accuracy and precision requirements and submit to direct supervision for review and approval
• Prepare and keep up to date moisture laboratory inventory
• Propose redesign or adjustment measurement capability to minimize errors in moisture laboratories
• Prepare draft calibration or Verification certificates and reports and keep records of raw data
• Conduct markets survey for moisture laboratory scope upgrade
• Prepare and submit the progress reports of performed laboratory activity or any other assigned duty
• Perform corrective actions to address identified non-conforming work in moisture laboratory
• Ensure the maintenance plan of moisture laboratory standards/equipment are implemented
• Ensure the moisture reference and working standards are handled and kept according to the international standards requirement
• Ensure the customer items are handled and kept according to the procedure in place
• Maintain the laboratory in a tidy and organised manner at all times.
• Perform any other organization related duties that may be assigned from time to time by the direct supervisor and any other duly authorised person.

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry
