JOB DETAILS:
Mass Laboratory Officer
Level:5.II
Job description
• Maintain and implement laboratory management systems of mass and balance Laboratory according to ISO/IEC 17025 2017
• Propose mass laboratory annual action plan and submit to direct supervisor
• Prepare mass laboratory weekly activities pal and submit it to direct supervisor
• Carry out mass and balance laboratory duties according to the action plan
• Perform calibration or verification of weighing instruments of customers
• Draft calibration methods and techniques based on principles of measurement science, technical analysis of measurement problems, and accuracy and precision requirements and submit to direct supervision for review and approval
• Prepare and keep up to date mass laboratory inventory
• Redesigns or adjusts measurement capability to minimize errors in mass and balance laboratories
• To conduct markets survey for mass laboratory scope upgrade
• Prepare draft calibration/Verification certificates, Survey reports and keep records of raw data
• Prepare and submit the progress reports of performed laboratory activity or any other assigned duty
• Perform corrective actions to address identified non-conforming work in mass laboratory
• Ensure the maintenance plan of mass laboratory standards/equipment are implemented
• Ensure the mass reference and working standards are handled and kept according to the international standards requirement
• Ensure the customer items are handled and kept according to the procedure in place
• Maintain the laboratory in a tidy and organised manner at all times.
• Perform any other organization related duties that may be assigned from time to time by the direct supervisor and any other duly authorised person.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
