In line with our expansion and ongoing commitment to excellence, we are currently seeking a Marketing, Financial, and Sales Officer to join our team. This key role will be responsible for driving our marketing, financial management, and sales efforts to support the growth and success of the company
Duties and Responsibilities of Production and Quality Control Manager
Marketing Responsibilities:
• Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Design and execute marketing plans that align with the company’s goals, particularly focusing on increasing brand awareness and promoting products, especially those aimed at addressing malnutrition.
• Market Research and Consumer Insights: Conduct regular market research to understand industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activity. Use this information to shape marketing campaigns and strategies for product positioning.
• Brand Management and Promotion: Oversee the company’s branding efforts, ensuring that messaging, visual identity, and promotional materials are consistent across all platforms and media.
• Digital Marketing: Manage the company’s online presence through social media platforms, the website, and digital ads. Analyze traffic, engagement metrics, and return on investment (ROI) for digital campaigns.
Financial Responsibilities:
• Financial Planning and Budgeting: Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models. Work with the management of the company to allocate resources effectively, ensuring that funds are used efficiently across marketing, production, and sales.
• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Regularly prepare financial reports (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, etc.) for senior management. Analyze financial performance against the budget and provide insights into areas for improvement or adjustment.
• Cash Flow Management: Oversee the company’s cash flow, ensuring that there is adequate liquidity for operations and investments. Manage accounts receivable and payable to optimize cash flow.
Sales Responsibilities:
• Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue and expand the company’s market share. Focus on both B2B (business-to-business) and B2C (business-to-consumer) opportunities, depending on the company’s target audience.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including distributors, retailers, and possibly end consumers. Provide exceptional customer service and support to foster long-term business relationships.
• Lead Generation and Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities, sales channels, and potential clients. Conduct market research to identify high-potential sectors and regions for growth, especially those that align with the company's mission to address malnutrition.
• Sales Negotiations and Deal Closures: Handle negotiations with clients and partners, closing deals and ensuring profitable agreements. Oversee contracts, terms, and pricing.
• Sales Performance Tracking: Monitor sales performance against targets and KPIs. Analyze sales data and provide feedback to senior management on performance, trends, and opportunities for growth.
• Collaboration with Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to ensure that sales strategies align with promotional activities. Provide insights into customer preferences and feedback to refine marketing campaigns.
Qualifications and Skills Needed:
• Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Monetary Economics or a related field.
• Experience:3 years of experience in a combined or similar role in marketing, finance, and sales, preferably in the food processing or agriculture sector.
Key Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
• Proficient in financial management software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel) and marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media platforms),
• Sales experience with a focus on customer relationship management (CRM),
• Category A driving license is required.
