(Request for Proposal/Agency Brief)

1. Client: Sanlam Rwanda
2. Job/Project: HIRING A SIGNAGE AGENCY to conduct a brand audit.
3. Job Description: Reposition Sanlam Rwanda on the Rwandan market.
4. Background / Overview: Sanlam Rwanda is the leading diversified Pan African non – banking financial services group listed on the Johannesburg and Namibian Stock Exchanges. Sanlam was established in 1918 as a life insurance company. Today, the Group has a business presence in 33 countries in Africa, as well as in Australia, India, Lebanon, Malaysia, the UK and the USA.

5. Signage Agency job profile

Signage Agency is responsible for assessing the scope of the work that must be completed across the country and offer a total price for the work that must be accomplished.

6. Signage Agency job description

Sanlam Rwanda is looking for a Signage Agency that is experienced, passionate, and creative. As a branding firm, they will assess and evaluate the current brand in order to produce a comprehensive report on the Sanlam Rwanda brand condition across the country.

7. Signage Agency duties and responsibilities

• Conduct a Brand Audit for all Sanlam Rwanda Branches across the country.
• Conduct a brand Analysis and advise accordingly.
• Provide constructive feedback on the work that must carried out. 

8. Signage Agency Competences

• Having an analytical skills and attention to details.
• An understanding of trends and ability to respond to our wishes.
• Creativity and an ability to produce innovative and original ideas.
• Having a wide experience and understanding of the market.
• Time and project management skills.
• An ability to think strategically and produce a comprehensive Report. 

9. Application process: 

The applicants should submit a folder containing the following: 

• Company profile and background document explaining how its scope of work is relevant to the brand Audit work assignment.
• Proof of the company’s registration under the Rwanda Development Board.
• Up-to-date tax clearance certificate.
• A technical proposal with a proper methodology on how to undertake this assignment, along with a high-level working plan timeline.
• Good completion (at least two) that prove strong technical skills.
• Your financial proposal shall be provided in local currency (Rwandan francs), including applicable taxes, with a validity of 60 days from the date of submission.
• Contact details of three references. 
• Having at least 5 years of experience as a Signage agency or similar role. 

10. Evaluation criteria:

The following criteria will be used to evaluate the proposals submitted:

• Clarity and feasibility of the proposed methodology.
• Demonstrated experience and expertise in conducting Brand audit or Similar role.
• Reasonableness of the financial proposal.
• Ability to deliver quality outputs within the given timeline.

11. Duration and Timeline

The audit of all Sanlam Rwanda branches is expected to be completed in a period not later than a month from the date of signing the contract.  

12. Feedback (Key Dates):

Bid announcement date: 20^th November 2023.

Bid submission format & Date:

Applications should be submitted in two hardcopies (Original & Copy) at our office (KN3 av, No 19, Kigali) with the subject BRAND AUDIT OF ALL SANLAM RWANDA BRANCHES no later than 23/11/2023 at 5:00 PM.
