Introduction

The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is a federally owned international cooperation enterprise for sustainable development with worldwide operations. The GIZ Office in Kigali covers GIZ’s portfolio in Rwanda and Burundi. GIZ Rwanda/Burundi implements projects on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, the European Union and other commissioning authorities in the following priority areas: Sustainable Economic Development; Good Governance; Climate, Energy and Sustainable Urban Development; Digitalization and Digital Economy; and regional projects in the Great Lakes Region.

The GIZ Country Office wishes to hire a construction company for a shading project which involves covering different locations of the offices’ compound located at KN 41st N^o21 House

General Scope of the Project

Main Activities:

1. Window Shading cover: Comprises of extending cover sheets at the HR & IT offices to protected them from the sun.
2. Walkway Pergola roofing: Comprises covering the walkway serving to the main entrance of the offices with pergola sheets.
3. Extension of the Parking space sheet cover: Comprises of a construction of a new 1 car parking cover spot.
4. Assignment Duration.

The duration of framework agreement will cover a period from 01/09/204 to 16/09/2024

SCOPE OF WORK

Below are the terms and conditions:

• The supplier is requested to submit his/her offer which includes clear and complete technical specifications of proposed item (this will be the basis for technical evaluation against specifications provided) and quotation for unit price and total price for the item.
• The offer must be in PDF and the price must be in RWF and VAT excluded (if applicable). 
• Delivery Place: GIZ Rwanda, Kigali office- KN 41 ST./Nr.17 Kiyovu
• Delivery period: Please indicate your shortest delivery period.
• Payment conditions: up to 10 days after delivery and invoicing.
• Site Visit is on 14/08/2024 at 10am at GIZ Rwanda, Kigali office- KN 41 ST./Nr.17 Kiyovu
