JOB DETAILS:
(CORE) is a Japanese international NGO registered in Rwanda,2018 CORE’s concept is to physically and commercially link Youth and Farmers group to the markets. CORE ‘s Vision: Envisioning a world free of Poverty and Hunger for better livelihood CORE’s Mission: Empower Farmers and Youths to be self-reliant, self –develop, to self –market .

Job Responsibilities
• In charge of leading environment activities in the projects
• Implement engineering trainings, and field activities related to the project.
• Report writing of field activities (data input).
• Proposal writing for funds application for the sustainability of the office.
• Attending a meeting with stakeholders at the National and district levels.
• Reporting and consulting to the Project Manager in case of any problems.
• Keeping a record of all organization items (office and field).
• Receiving visitors on behalf of the Organization (information sharing).
• Assist in Planning of workshops, meetings, and trainings.
• Powerpoint presentation for Workshops, meetings to Government and prospective donors.
• Perform any other assigned duties upon request.

Job Qualifications
• Undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Agroforestry, General agriculture, Environmental sciences, Environmental Horticulture and landscape sciences or other related fields;
• At least 2 years of work experience with community people (Farmer groups, Community based Organizations (CBOs) and local NGOs) particularly focusing on women and youth, in Rural setup;
• Work experience with the implementation of Agroforestry, afforestation, land conservation, landscape restoration, and environmental activities in development projects;
• Experience in drafting manuals, Project proposals, and reporting;
• Strong analytical and writing skills and track record in producing relevant training, communication and knowledge materials;
• Experience in preparing and delivering training, particularly to community people (Farmer groups, Community based Organizations (CBOs) and local NGOs)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and experience in organizing and facilitating workshops and seminars;
• Enthusiastic and flexible to learn new activities in development projects
• Sensitivity to diverse opinions and difficulties arising from differing social and cultural perceptions.
• Computer skills and experience
• Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda is required.
