Director of Accademic training and industry linkages

Job description
• Coordinate admission and registration of students;
• Coordinate learning assessments;
• Grant the security of students records;
• Provision of students’ Academic documents;
• Supervise all activities with the directorate;
• Collaborate with the carrier career development and guidance units to develop employer contacts and industry relations; cultivate work-based learning opportunities including internships; develop employment placements; and support a structured career development and job readiness program for eligible students;
• Oversee the implementation of industrial liaison strategy tailored to Corporate Partnership Programme (CPP) activities between school of creative Arts and music and industries;
• Liaise with School students in their search for internships or industrial attachment and jobs, working closely with the SCAM Careers Advisory Services;
• Monitor employer/internship supervisor satisfaction by contacting employers regularly to monitor progress, as well as follow up to ensure participant satisfaction;
• Identify key training areas and needs through a consultative approach;
• Initiate the development or review of Academic Program;
• Design and implement capacity building of teaching staff;
• Develop training materials and ensure that they are validated;
• Identify in collaboration with other partners eligible trainees;
• Laise with other Academic Departments in identifying trainers;
• Design and develop training a customized training Plan;
• Identify required training consumables and ensure their availability;
• Develop, review and maintain comprehensive trainees’ records and track their occupation;
• Assess the impact of the training.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Music Dance and Drama
3 Years of relevant experience
