Data Architecture Specialist
Level:3.II
Job description
• Review existing data architectures to determine overall effectiveness and compliance with original objectives, develop comprehensive strategies for improving or replacing underperforming areas
• Research and properly evaluate sources of information to determine possible limitations in reliability or usability across GoR.
• Provide guidelines and supervision for the migration data from existing systems to new systems
• Define enterprise information architecture by analyzing information requirements; determining systems architecture, components, and technologies; studying business operations and user-interface requirements; directing development of physical database
• Develop architectural strategies for data modeling, design and implementation to meet stated requirements for metadata management, operational data stores and Extract Transform Load environments
• Build, optimize and maintain conceptual and logical database models.
• Advise on database physical structure and functional capabilities, security, back-up, and recovery specifications.
• Collaborate with the Data Scientist Specialists to identify IT projects requirements and capabilities.
