CALL FOR SUBMISSION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF AN YOUTH ACTION HANDBOOK
The implementation consortium of the regional project ''Great Lakes Youth Network for Dialogue and Peace. Our Diversity - our Opportunity!'' is looking for consultants to develop the methodology and youth training manuals that will serve as the 'Basic Manual' for youth training. This manual will help consortium members to facilitate youth empowerment and capacity building in the areas selected by the project that can contribute to peace and security building. Selected topics include Media, including social media, communication; Advocacy skills, data-based advocacy, agenda setting, and policy dialogue; Gender equality and equity; Non-violent communication; Public speaking and debate; Critical thinking exercises; Organisational development (including fundraising and project management) and Conflict Management.

Profile:
• In-depth knowledge of the socio-cultural, economic, and political context of the Great Lakes project region.
• Demonstrated strong experience in the development of training materials specifically for youth/youth.
• Tertiary qualification in the field of adult education and strong experience in youth training.
• Availability for the periods specified in this call.
• Demonstrated experience in research and participatory methods.
• Experience in using computers and office software (MS Word, Excel, etc.).
• Ability to produce high-quality outputs within deadlines,
• Proven communication, research, analytical, and contextualization skills.
• Ability to work independently and produce high-quality results.
• Demonstrate integrity by adopting the client's values and ethical standards.
• Demonstrate sensitivity and adaptability in relation to culture, gender, religion, race, nationality, and age.
• Treat all people fairly, without favoritism.
