Consultancy to Provide Event Management Services for the AYuTe AFRICA Challenge - Rwanda.

Since 1944, Heifer International (an international non-governmental development organization) has worked with more than 52 million people around the world to end hunger and poverty sustainably. Heifer’s global vision for 2020 - 2030 is to close the living income gap for an additional 10 million families. This vision is a focused approach for the African continent to support over 6 million smallholder farming communities in Africa to reach a sustainable living income.

About Agriculture, Youth, and Technology (AYuTe) in Rwanda

Rwanda’s agricultural sector, which employs over 60% of the population, faces several challenges that hinder productivity and limit the potential of smallholder farmers. Innovation and youth-driven entrepreneurship have emerged as key solutions to bridging this gap. The AYuTe Africa Challenge Rwanda seeks to inspire and support young innovators in the agriculture sector by providing a platform for youth-led agritech startups to showcase their solutions and scale their impact.

The AYuTe Rwanda Challenge Rwanda, launched in 2023, identifies and supports the most promising youth-led initiatives that address the challenges faced by Rwanda’s agriculture sector. The competition provides funding, exposure, and business development support to the winning startups, helping them reach their full potential in transforming agricultural productivity and food security.

Purpose and Objective

The main objective of this tender is to identify an event management consulting firm responsible for curating, organizing, and setting up the AYuTe Africa Challenge – Rwanda 2025.
