JOB DETAILS:
Chief Shared Services Officer
Job Purpose
The Chief Shared Officer is responsible for initiating the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), overseeing operations of the company and making decisions taking people, products, and processes and into consideration.

Key Responsibilities
• Create and execute a clear strategy for BSC Plc to ensure achievement of Shared Services and Departmental outcomes and strategy.
• Provide leadership, management and oversight of the property, supply, administration, and security function to maximize efficiencies for the Department.
• Build and maintain capability of the BSC Plc to establish and grow its position as an exemplary Corporate Company.
• Lead the Shared Services response to business continuity planning.
• Provide strategic and intellectual leadership within the department to grow and build the operational capability by seeking continuous improvement.
• Demonstrate leadership support for all Departmental initiatives and organizational development activities, modelling expected behaviors to managers and staff to create a desired workplace culture.
• Lead high performing teams through coaching and mentoring, to build and grow operational capability.
• Ensuring property, supply, administration, and security work effectively together across the Department, and monitoring overall progress towards stated outcomes.
• Direct shared services activities to meet budget and other financial goals of BSC Plc.
• Ensure efficient and effective IT, HR, Procurement, Administration services are delivered in a manner that contributes to the growth of the BSC Plc.
• Establish and maintain business relations with external stakeholders including public and private players both domestically and overseas.
• Track and measure the efficacy of stated strategies implemented within the department.
• Ensure cross-departmental mediation and operational unison.


Requirements
• Possession of a Master's degree in Human Resource Management
• Requirements Have demonstrated experience of at least 7years in managerial position supporting the development and implementation of organizational vision and strategy.
• A history of achievement in the development and delivery of high-quality corporate services.
• Experience in leading and managing high performing teams
• Extensive administration knowledge and experience
• Proven experience in change initiation and management
• Proven experience in procurement or contract management knowledge. Proven Problem-solving skills to identify problems, evaluate options and execute solutions
• Evidence of excellence in communication and negotiation, especially in complex settings and in a cross-cutting environment.
• Superior interpersonal skills
• Strong people skills
• Knowledge of Rwanda labor laws and regulation

Level of Education: Associate Degree
