Banana Innovation and Technology Transfer Senior Research Technician
Level:3.IV
Job description

• Reporting to the Banana Program Coordinator Senior Principal Research, the Banana Innovation and Tech Transfer Senior Research Technician has the following responsibilities
• Assist in conducting research activities related to trial establishment and monitoring, surveys, diagnostic, sampling and outreach;
• Collect research data under supervision of scientists;
• Write technical reports;
• Deliver extension messages in the respective assigned area;
• Prepare and disseminate training material, deliver training;
• Conduct data introduction, cleaning and verification after collection;
• Conduct field visits by requests from partners for any emergency problem;
• Report to the Head of Program through scientist or directly.

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Crop Production

• Bachelor's Degree in Agronomy
10 Years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Crop Science
10 Years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences
10 Years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Plant Sciences

• Proven experience to work with farmers in research and extension
• Capacity in project development and resource Mobilization
