JOB DETAILS:
Assistant Lecturer in Water quality and treatment
Level:4.III
Job description
• Demonstrate high level of class leadership and management (In all levels of IPRC)
• Teach/Train students in areas assigned by the institution.
• Conduct lecture planning, preparation, and research.
• Conduct water quality laboratory tests for students, research, and income generation.
• Contribute to the development, planning, and implementation of a high-quality curriculum.
• Engage in professional and personal development.
• Engage with broader scholarly and professional community outreach activities.
• Contribute to TVET research and innovation
• Conduct training of trainers.
• Participate in income-generating activities of the institution.
• Perform all other tasks assigned by her/his supervisors.
• Expertise in water quality and treatment
• Expertise in data collection of water parameters, testing and analysis of tests results
• Expertise in operation and management of water quality laboratory.
• Ability to conduct practical classes in laboratories
• Good understanding of Rwanda TVET qualification framework.

Courses to teach:
1. Waste Water Treatment, 2. APPLIED ENVIRONMENTAL CHEMISTRY, 3. SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT 4. Advanced Water Quality Laboratory 5. Urban Drainage and Sewerage Systems

3. Minimum Qualifications
• Master’s Degree in Sanitation Engineering
1 Year of relevant experience
• Water chemistry
1 Year of relevant experience
