Job purpose:
I&M Bank Group Plc is engaged to continuously upgrade its’ digital products as one of strategic pillar. Through this strategy, the bank is engaged to implement an upgraded version of its’ Internet & Mobile Banking Applications (OCH). It is in this regards that I&M is recruiting an Agile Project Manager (APM), to deliver this key milestone.
The Agile Project Manager will be responsible for the upgrade program from start to finish, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with high quality outcomes. The APM shall ensure that, bank’s requirements (incl. expected outcomes) are met by the vendor. Coordinate and execute all administrative tasks of the projects.

Key deliverables for this role are:
• Planning and executing: Responsible for planning and executing projects using Agile methodologies. This includes creating project plans, defining project scope, setting project timelines, and monitoring progress throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitating Agile ceremonies: Responsible for facilitating Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives. APM should ensure that these meetings are productive and that team members stay on track.
• Managing project budgets: Responsible for managing project budgets and ensuring that projects are delivered within budget constraints. This includes tracking project expenses, forecasting costs, and identifying cost-saving opportunities on Group level.
• Leading project teams: Responsible for leading project teams and ensuring that team members are working together effectively. APM should provide guidance and support to team members, facilitate communication and collaboration, and ensure that everyone is working towards the same goals.
• Identifying and managing project risks: Responsible for identifying project risks and developing strategies to mitigate them. This includes assessing risks, developing contingency plans, and monitoring risk throughout the project lifecycle.
• Communicating project status: Responsible for communicating project status to stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and other stakeholders. This includes creating status reports, holding project status meetings, and communicating changes to project scope, timeline, or budget.
• Ensuring project quality: Responsible for ensuring project quality by monitoring project deliverables, conducting quality reviews, and ensuring that project outcomes meet the expectations of stakeholders.
• Liaise with project suppliers, vendors or partners and participate in their assessment.
• Any other responsibility that may be assigned to you by your line supervisors.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, computer engineering, information systems or any other relevant degree
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in IT Project Management from an organization of similar size
• Have a PMP, Agile certifications are an added advantage
• Agile methodology expertise: Should have a deep understanding of agile principles, frameworks, and methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, etc. Should be able to guide the team on the implementation of agile practices and ensure the project adheres to the principles of agile.

• Strong Communication & Interpersonal skills
• Analytical, troubleshooting & problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask
• Adaptability: Should be adaptable and able to adjust plans, processes & priorities in the dynamic and changing environment.
• Should be aware about the program risks and able to identify opportunities, prioritize work, and adapt to changing circumstances.
