Accountant

Job description
• Prepare payments for ordinary development, grants and own revenues budget;
• Filling of all accounting documents;
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements;
• Declare and pay VAT and withholding taxes of school service providers as well PYE/TPR for school staff;
• Facilitate internal and external audits;
• Strengthen and maintain network with RP, BNR and MINECOFIN focal persons;
• To Develop the institution budgets (Recurrent, development, grants and own revenues) in collaboration with other units;
• Ensure regular follow up of budget execution and update management on progress;
• Identify budget gaps and propose budget revision;
• Manage petty cash in accordance with applied rules.

• Bachelor's Degree in Economics

• Transition period for professional certification requirement is three (3) years starting from 01st February, 2021. However, a new entrant without the required professional certification for a given job position shall not be eligible, one (1) year before the expiration of the transition period
