JOB DETAILS:
2 Mycology Senior Officer
Level:4.II
Job description
Prepare quarterly and annual reports
• Validate test results and implement Lab Quality Control programs
• Supervise and train lab personnel on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and
• Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs)
• Take periodic inventory of reagent stocks and lab consumables for the Lab section
• Follow-up on scheduled equipment maintenance, service and repairs
• Participate in biomedical research studies
• Participate in EQA program
• Prepare reagent and media for fungi and yeasts identification
• Prepare or maintain stock of reference fungi and yeast colonies for quality control
• In collaboration with EID Division, make a field investigation for sample collection and outbreak confirmation during an outbreak suspension
• Participates in Mycology related research in collaboration with other institutions

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology
0 Year of relevant experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology
0 Year of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Laboratory Sciences
0 Year of relevant experience

• Knowledge in industrial enzymes and pharmaceuticals; Knowledge in Medical Mycology
• Knowledge in all aspects of medical, veterinary and environmental mycology
