2 Crop Protection Innovation and Technology Transfer Research Technician Grade IV
Level:5.III
Job description
Reporting to the Crop Protection Program Coordinator Senior Research Fellow, the Innovation and Technology Transfer Research Technician Grade IV has the following responsibilities:
• Ensure accurate collection of field and laboratory data;
• Participate in production and dissemination of extension materials (posters and fliers);
• Backstop/support extension and technology dissemination to stakeholders in crop pests and diseases prevention and management;
• Provide training to farmers and extension agents on improved crop pests and diseases;
• Participate in research and technology transfer on crop pests and diseases prevention and management;
• Prepare a quarterly and annual report on crop pests and diseases research activities carried out.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology
3 Years of relevant experience
• Bachelor of Science in Microbiology
3 Years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Crop Sciences
3 Years of relevant experience
• Advanced Diploma in Biotechnology
3 Years of relevant experience
• Advanced Diploma in Microbiology
3 Years of relevant experience
• Advanced Diploma in Crop Sciences
3 Years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Plant Sciences
3 Years of relevant experience
• Advanced Diploma in Plant Sciences
3 Years of relevant experience
• Agronomy
15 Years of relevant experience
