2 Building Construction Pre-Assessment Engineer
Level:4.II
Job description
• Follow up on the use of the building construction pre-assessment information of the City of Kigali;
• Answering all clients’ questions, addressing complaints and advise the clients on the provisions of the Kigali city Masterplan;
• Assess and advise clients on their construction plans/projects under design or submitted to the City of Kigali by private or public actors against applicable zoning regulations, construction norms and standards prior to the issuance of construction permits;
• Work hand in hand with concerned staff and stakeholders at Districts and City of Kigali as part of the building construction pre-assessment information provision to the client;
• Monitor the building construction pre-assessment practices across the Districts of the City of Kigali;
• Provide technical support to the Districts of the City of Kigali in the area of building construction pre-assessment;
• Ensuring aftercare services by addressing clients’ questions by discussing with them and find better ways to handle their issues;
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
