TITLE: Request for Quotations for Electrical installations, Generators and Air conditioners maintenance and repair services at all the branches of Urwego Bank PLC

Urwego Bank  PLC, (hereinafter referred to as the Bank) hereby invites interested professional companies to submit their financial proposals for maintenance and repair services for Electrical installations, Generators and Air conditioners at all branches of the bank.

1.Important notice

1. All the quotations should be submitted in sealed envelopes with the following mentions: “RFQ-2023/05/OP/LOG/015 Electrical installations, Generators and Air conditioners maintenance and repair services at all the branches”, and submitted to the bank’s reception at its head office located at , Plot 428, KN5 RD, UMUYENZI PLAZA, Remera Sector,Gasabo, Tel. +250 788173100,  Website: urwegobank.com;
2. The quotations received, and acknowledged at the HO, will be opened and analyzed for selection by the Bank Tender Committee Members who will thereafter inform each bidder of the final decision
3. The quotations should include VAT certificate along with a valid tax clearance certificate with RRA and RSSB, a valid Trading license from RDB with at least 5 years experience in similar activities, and bidding company must be certified with RURA as the operator for all the 3 activities i.e: Electrical, Generators and HVAC, or certified as the operator for 2 out the 3 activities, only if the one of the biedder’s technicians is individually certified by RURA for the 3^rd

Note that the bidder should be in the fields tying with this present tender as per RDB     registration certificate;

4. The bidder should present 4 completion certificate from reputable similar institutions (banking instutitions) to substantiate his competency and ability in the areas of repair and maintenance as per this tender
5. The bidder will provide for the list of their qualified technicians, their CVs and Diploma;
6. A mandatory site visit will be carried out only by the recognizable qualified personnel of the bidder to avoid any disorder; and so, site visit attendants should present their service cards and will be given a visit certificate for every branch visited.
7. The bank is trying to miminize, if not to completely stop buying any spare parts for service providers.

So, the  bidder’s monthly cost of all the services should include, transport, accommodation, material (consumables;including bulbs,switches, contactors, oils, oil-air-fuel filteters, batteries, refrigerant gaz) and labor for each and every equipment, at each and every branch, for unlimited support, repairs and spare parts to all the branches.

The Deadline for submission of quotes is set on Friday 21^st Jully, 2023 at 2:00 pm at HQ of the bank  through our reception office located at UMUYENZI Plaza at 3^rd floor.

Site visit is authorized every day from 09:00 am up to 5:00 pm except Saturday and Sunday.

The list of branches and equipments to support the required service is found in appendix to this request.
