JOB DETAILS:
  POSITION: FTTH Network Designer
Location: Kigali, Rwanda
ITM Africa Ltd, an international company specializing in all HR solutions is currently supporting the recruitment of a FTTH Network Designer on behalf of one of the biggest FTTH network providers in Africa.
ROLE
The FTTH Network Designer is responsible for the design of the different network deployment areas. He/She ensures, in coordination with internal operational teams and service providers, that the FTTH network is deployed in accordance with the design and specifications..

Job Responsibilities:
• Perform spatial and statistical analysis operations.
• The planning and realization of the design of the network according to the specifications and in compliance with the procedures, rules and deadlines provided.
• Field validation of network design feasibility before the start of deployment work.
• Production of the various deliverables, guarantee the control and the quality of the Fiber reference system.
• Coordination of deployment work with internal teams and external service providers to ensure compliance with the network design considering all changes made at the time of deployment.

• You have good knowledge of the principles of structuring geographic databases.
• You are highly organized, with a strong ability to manage and develop a team.
• You are rigorous in the collection and processing of data.
• You are adaptable, responsive and able to work under pressure.
• You have more than 2 years’ experience in telecommunication and in a similar position.
• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, Geomarketing or any other relevant field.
• You are fluent in English, and Kinyarwanda (French would be an added advantage).
