Traffic Instruments Verification Officer
Level:5.II
Job description
• Perform Verification/type approval/ inspection and stamping of traffic related measuring instruments and other measuring instruments subjected to legal metrology controls
• Ensure the measurement traceability of traffic metrology standards are maintained
• Conduct activities under legal metrology such as metrological controls, verification and initiate the necessary follow up actions.
• Provide report to direct supervisor on work performed and matters affecting the work of the unit and the general execution of activities.
• Complete and maintaining records of activities conducted daily.
• Maintain the Quality Management System of the laboratory and other standard by conducting activities in accordance with the metrology law, RS 438:2021 and procedures
• Account for monthly revenue generated from the execution of laboratory activities in the field of traffic control
• Maintain the laboratory in a tidy and organised manner at all times.
• Perform any other organization related duties that may be assigned from time to time by the direct supervisor and any other duly authorised person
• Operate in compliance with organizational regulation and rules
