OverviewHealth Development Initiative (HDI) is an independent, non-profit organization based in Kigali and registered with the Rwandan government. HDI strives to improve the quality and accessibility of healthcare for all Rwandans.

Key tasksThe scope of the consultancy service shall include:
• Review the existing documents on risk management (including the existing strategy), best practices, identified risks, and lessons learned and consult with HDI staff members to understand the organization and its focus areas better,
• Provide and adapt to HDI context all annexes and templates for the document, including risk identification and analysis forms, risk status reports, and risk log(s).
Supervision, Reporting, and Deliverables• The consultant will be directly supervised by and report to the Director of Administration and Finance.
• The consultant is expected to provide regular progress updates every three days a week.
• The following deliverables are expected from the consultant:
• Identification of all current and potential risks that HDI is subjected to.
• A comprehensive risk management plan approved for HDI
• Present clear risk management methods that are adapted to the HDI context
• Present a clear risk management process map applied to the HDI environment
Duration of the taskThis short-term consultancy work will last 15 working days commencing from the contract's signature date.
Qualifications and experience are required.Developing the risk management plan requires high technical/professional expertise and proven experience. Therefore, the consultant interested in this work is required to have at least the following qualifications:
1. Hold a master's degree in Social, Business Administration, project management, law, or other related domains.
2. Have at least 6 years of experience in the development sector.
3. Fluency in spoken and written English is essential.
4. Have excellent communication skills, oral, written, and presentation.
5. Having experience in working with local and international non-government organizations will be an added advantage.
Application process• Submit an updated CV, including relevant work experience and qualifications at HDI's official email with the below documents:
• Valid company registration and tax clearance certificates provided by the Rwanda Development Board and Rwanda Revenue Authority.
• A detailed quotation for the consultancy showing all necessary costs. Bids shall be provided in Rwandan francs, including applicable taxes, and shall be valid for at least 90 days after submission.
